At one point at the end of the 1990s, the Morgan Motor
Company changed electrical suppliers.
Consequently, the diagrams are now rendered in a different,
more modern style, with far more vital
information. Sadly, however, this is confusing to some
owners. I have even received hostile comments
suggesting I created them myself!. (GRIN!) (I only
wish I had that level of expertise!) But be of good
cheer. They are really no harder to read and the additional
information they provide is a godsend.
These are diagrams that the factory was provided with
(after the hand created originals were approved).
Like most things Morgan, they are not wholly accurate
but they are 98%. The errors will be corrected in time
as I am collecting feedback from dealers and owners and
will redo them all when I have enough information
to warrant the work. When in doubt, consult other diagrams
of other models of the same era or use the wire
colors and the Lucas color charts GoMoG provides. provided.
You may also contact me for help or with
discoveries you have made. This site is only as good
as we all make it.
Additionally, the new format divides the car diagrams
into the different looms the car uses. All EFI Morgans have
3-4 wiring looms. REAR, CHASSIS, DASH and EFI.
Morgan provides the first three, the engine manufacturer
normally provides the EFI loom unless Morgan has altered
it signficantly enough to require their own loom.
I often have the manuufacturer's engine on the site
or in GoMoG archives.
